Join CYRA for rodeo relationships and experiences that last a lifetime! Beyond trophies, buckles, points, and prizes, youth members develop strong Christian values, as well as leadership and organizational skills. With nearly two decades of experience, CYRA hosts about 20 rodeos each year and youth members have the opportunity to compete across the state of Kansas. Members of the Christian Youth Rodeo Association welcome you to this community built around faith, family, and rodeo.

2020 Season Finals
Congratulations 2020 CYRA Finalists! Please see Finals Packet for details.
CYRA founder George Steinberger was always proud of the organization’s youth as they graduated from high school and moved into their young-adult lives. He encouraged each graduate to continue their education in college or technical training. CYRA seniors write a brief essay regarding their future plans to qualify for consideration of general education scholarships. In addition, members of all ages are able to apply for tuition assistance for rodeo bible camp through the George Steinberger Memorial Camp Scholarship. The board reviews all applications and announces scholarship winners at the annual awards ceremony. CYRA scholarships support the organization’s youth members and build on their foundation of Christian principles.
