With nearly two decades of experience, CYRA hosts several rodeos each year and youth members have the opportunity to compete across the state of Kansas. Members of the Christian Youth Rodeo Association welcome you to this community built around faith, family, and rodeo.

Scholarships

CYRA founder George Steinberger was always proud of the organization’s youth as they graduated from high school and moved into their young-adult lives. He encouraged each graduate to continue their education in college or technical training. CYRA seniors write a brief essay regarding their future plans to qualify for consideration of general education scholarships. The board reviews all applications and announces scholarship winners at the annual awards ceremony.

In addition, members of all ages can apply for tuition assistance through the George Steinberger Memorial Camp Scholarship. This scholarship is available for rodeo bible camp or any other approved rodeo clinic that has the same focus of helping kids grow in and out of the arena. All applications are subject to board approval.

CYRA scholarships support the organization’s youth members and build on their foundation of Christian principles.
