Dummy Roping (Boys & Girls age 3-6)
Event will consist of a bale of straw laid flat with a calf head attached. Each contestant must throw one loop and catch the dummy head without crossing the designated line. Each contestant that catches will move to the next round and throw another loop from twelve inches farther back from the first line. The last roper standing wins.

Mutton Busting (Boys & Girls age 3-6)
Each contestant will try to ride a sheep for 5 seconds. When the sheep is released from the chute it will run in an attempt to get the rider off it’s back. If the contestant rides for 5 seconds they will receive a score. Participants are required to wear a protective helmet and vest.

Goat Tail Untying (Boys & Girls age 3-6)
The participant rides their horse down to a tethered goat, dismounts, catches the goat, pulls a ribbon off its tail and puts their hands up in the air with the ribbon. Time limit: 45 seconds.

Pee Wee Barrel Racing (Boys & Girls age 3-6)
A speed event in which each contestant rides their horse in a cloverleaf pattern around preset barrels, trying to have the fastest time, while not knocking over a barrel.

Pee Wee Pole Bending (Boys & Girls age 3-6)
A timed event in which a contestant rides their horse down to the last pole at the end of the arena. Then runs a weaving or serpentine pattern through the six poles arranged in a line, down and back and then races back to the starting line.
